My niece, Becki, came to visit us and we had a blast! I met her at the International Airport just outside Belize City on the 5th of January. I flew up on a little puddle jumper plane.

And Becki flew down from California on Alaska Airlines. Becki's flight wasn't due in until after 5:00PM, so we decided to spend the night in Belize City and get an early start the next day.

Becki choose a Belize beer - Lighthouse Lager from the Belikin Brewing Company - to get into proper Belize spirit for the start to our adventures the next day.
That looks like a lot of fun is about to happen! Great weather for a winter trip. Lucky Becki. Enjoy your time.

ReplyDeleteThat should of course read "when you live" not "when you life." If my fingers, my brain and the keyboard ever get in synch it will be reason to declare a national holiday!

ReplyDeleteThe vacation was pretty great from start to finish. I had been afraid to anticipate anything since it could have been covid-canceled at the lat minute, but Becki's diligence paid off.
DeleteOh, that water! What a joy it must be for Becki to have an aunt who lives in such a beautiful place.
