That's lovely. I used to occasionally see cedar waxwings, a whole flock, in the tree at my house, in pouring rain, all bathing happily, splashing and shaking and just having the best time with their friends. They remind us there's fun to be had in the rain

DeleteBirds do love showers, don't they? Not chickens though. They only like to bathe in sand and dirt.

DeleteHummingbirds seem to especially enjoy rain showers and take full advantage of them.

ReplyDeleteSometimes after it rains, i see them bathing on large upturned leaves that catch the waster. They like a shower and a bath!
